People don’t want good!?

How many of your friends read books on a regular basis? How many of your friends meditate? Though each one of your friends know meditation & books are good for them. 20%. When you have 10 friends, it is probably less than 2 of them. But of course you can have that 1 friend who meditate. Your number of friends is not the point here.

If you see around, you might find very few people who want good, who want growth, who want wisdom, awareness, positivity. In fact, even if you try to bring someone into awareness, they ignore you or might even think you are egotistical, boring or even mad.

A person who watches News will even make an attempt to humiliate those who read books but he never even attempts to read one. This, this my friends is true tragedy. The irony. This is the ultimate power of ignorance, the ignorance itself, the person does not know how ignorant he is, how less is his awareness. Ignorance is ruling this planet.

Initially this might seem like it’s just a curse on our planet, our species and humanity. But it’s actually well balanced chaos, or you can say it’s order in chaos.

It’s actually based on Pareto’s principle. Also called as the 80-20 rule. The original idea is that 80% of the outcomes come from the 20% of the efforts. But this can be applied universally to many things.

80-20 rule is everywhere. There are 20% of people in this world who create and 80% who consume what the 80% have created. There is 20% who seek awareness, knowledge, wisdom, and there is 80% who is trapped in their ignorance and some arrogant ones who don’t even bother to react to the light of awareness.

Definitely we cannot change the ratio. 80-20 will continue to remain the same. The only thing we can do is for each of us individuals try to be part of that 20% and unite the people who belong to that 20%. Oh sorry, that’s two things 🙂

And moreover the exact percentage is also not the point here. The 80 might become 85 or the 20 might become 15 or even 10. Let’s keep it this way, majority will always be far from the truth.

It’s up to you to decide not to follow the crowd, not to be just a number of that majority and instead try to become one among the minority who strive for growth, awareness, wisdom and fulfilment in life.

And it is possible to be that way irrespective of your work/job. It’s in how you do that work that matters, your excellence in it with ultimate dedication.

Yours Loving
